Ukhrul: The six-day Katho Katamnao Long XXIV General conference cum sports meet 2022 which began on February 5 organised by THYSO under the theme “Building Inclusivity” concluded on Thursday.
Chief guest SW Suisa, MFS DFO Urban Forest Division, Govt of Manipur stressed on the importance of neighbors love. He said, “We realize that we should not wait for when we feel loved before we start to love others. We do not have to wait until we feel that we have a surplus of self-love before we give it away to our neighbors”.
He further continued that youth of today is the future of tomorrow and asserted that it is the youth of today that is going to bear the consequences of the actions of today. Good Youth will yield to strong nation.
Functional president AS Wungnaoyo, Headman Ramva expressed his unflinching support for the Upliftment of Katho is infinite.
Meanwhile, guest of honor RK Makaohei Singh, ZEO Ukhrul applauded the Katho Katamnao Long for organising such competitive events by giving platform among students and youths in the field of sports and education arena.
Another guest at the closing event, Dr AS Kapangring, CMO Ukhrul called the community leaders to come together to fight the pandemic for herd immunity advising on Covid vaccination. “It is advisable to receive the complete schedule of Covid-19 vaccine for protecting one-self against this disease and also to limit the spread of this disease,” he added.

The closing ceremony of the was also attended by Mona Arthur Proprietor of Samadon Maruti, Ningthemkol and her team. The event prize money was supported and sponsored by the Samadon Maruti.
THYSO bagged the winner of Men’s football defeating Shangshak Khullen by a margin of 5-2.
