Six more file nomination papers at Senapati

Senapati: After six candidates had filed their nominations till February nine, another six candidates filed nominations on Thursday for 47-Karong (ST) AC, 48-Mao (ST) AC and 49-Tadubi (ST) AC of Senapati district.

Nominated candidates on Thursday include Robert T. Maram, Independent candidate for 49-Tadubi (ST) AC, Khoho Siile Anthony of the NPF for 47-Karong (ST) AC, S. Alexander Maikho of BJP for 48-Mao (ST) AC, Yuh Jonathan Tao of BJP, D.D. Thaisii of Congress and Thaiba Sanii of Independent for 47-Karong (ST) AC. Altogether, 12 candidates have filed their nominations in Senapati district for three different assembly seats till Thursday, February 10.

Briefing media persons, Khoho Siile Anthony, NPF candidate for 47-Karong AC stated that he had decided to work for the welfare of the people and for the cause of the Nagas. He mentioned that he is very confident and determined that people will vote for NPF and bring victory to work for the welfare of the people and to care for the needy as well as to uphold the values and ethics of the party. He is looking forward for the support from people of the constituency to work for the welfare of the people.
S. Alexander Maikho, BJP candidate for 48-Mao AC stated that the coming election features lots of challenges for development which he as a young person assured to fight for the election in free and fair manner.

Four candidates filed nomination at district election office, Senapati on Wednesday. Nominated candidates include J. Kumo Sha (39 years) (Ind) of 47-Karong AC, Woba Joram (59) (Ind) of 48-Mao AC, Francis Ngajokpa (58) (NPF) and O.Lohrii (69) (Bjp) both from 49-Tadubi AC. Altogether 6 candidates had filed nomination from Senapati till February 9.

Losii Dikho (NPF) and N. Kayisii (NPP) had filed their nominations on February 8.
