For the fourth consecutive day, Manipur reported COVID-19 cases below 100-mark, even as three COVID-19 related deaths took the casualty tally to 332 on Thursday.
As the single-day recoveries continue to exceed the fresh positive cases of COVID-19, the recovery rate of the state also rose to 91.97%.
The overall caseload of the state rose to 27,454 which included 3,324 CAPF. The total caseload included 25,250 recoveries and 1,872 active cases.
Three deaths in the last 24 hours pushed the COVID-19 casualty tally to 332. Two of the three deaths including a female were from Imphal West district and the third one from Chandel district.
The state reported 81 fresh COVID-19 positive cases. The single-day caseload included 12 CAPF personnel, according to a release of the COVID-19 Common Control Room.
Among the fresh positive cases from the general population, 21 were from Imphal West, 20 from Imphal East, 12 from Thoubal, nine from Bishnupur, three from Churachandpur and one each from Kakching, Senapati, Kangpokpi and Pherzawl.
