Ukhrul: The felicitation ceremony for the outstanding students of Alice Christian Higher Secondary School was held on June 6, 2024, in the school’s chapel hall. The ceremony is aimed to honor students who excelled academically (HSLC and HSE) during the 2023-2024 academic year. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the school principal, Dr. Theimipei Raleng; Rev. Dr. Mathotmi Vasha ES (TBCA); Tharmichon N. Rungsung, Women Secretary (TBCA); faculty members; parents, and students.

The event commenced at 1:30 PM with an invocation by Chuitharla Vashum, Chaplain of ACHSS. The school principal, Dr. Theimipei Raleng, then delivered the welcome address. She highlighted the importance of recognizing and rewarding students’ hard work and dedication, and thanked the parents and teachers for their unwavering support and encouragement.

The award distribution began with the academic excellence awards. Students who topped their respective subjects were awarded cash prizes and certificates. In the HSE exam, Nimsor Chahongnao and Soyaton Pheirei were the toppers in the Arts and Science streams, respectively. In the HSLC exam, Themchui Chahongnao was the school topper, and Yunmi Chiphang was the state topper in the Tangkhul subject with a score of 95%.

The event concluded with a closing prayer by AK Singh (Office Assistant ACHSS). The felicitation ceremony was a memorable event that celebrated the achievements of the students and motivated them to aim higher. It reinforced the school’s commitment to recognizing and nurturing talent, thereby encouraging a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
