Ukhrul, Dec 12: The Angami Youth Organisation (AYO), reiterating the Angami Public Organisation resolution of 1993 on “One Government, One Tax,” cautioned the workers from various Naga political groups to refrain from harassing, imposing taxation, and extortion on any Angami business establishment or individual in particular and within the Angami jurisdiction in general.

“It is imminent that, with the onset of the festive season, harassment and extortion from workers of various Naga political groups will significantly increase. Therefore, the Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) urges the Ceasefire Monitoring Group/Ceasefire Supervisory Board and its agencies to be more vigorous in performing their duties and responsibilities to ensure the safety and security of the business community and the general public,” the press statement read.
