The All Naga Students’ Association, Manipur (ANSAM) which is the apex student body of the Nagas in Manipur has appealed for prayer support for reconciliation and for good health of senior leaders.
In a press release signed by Thiirthung Wanglar, President, ANSAM and AC. Thotso, General Secretary, ANSAM, it stated that the collective voice of students and youth acknowledges the initiative of the Parliamentary Core Committee on Naga political issue under Nagaland Govt to facilitate a reconciliatory process of the different Naga Political Groups. The student body is grateful to all the Naga national political leaders for their leadership and standing firm and their willingness to hammer out differences towards an honourable and logical solution for the land and its people, it added.
While the student bodies under ANSAM is concerned of the health of all the elders and senior leaders, the ANSAM stated to deeply worried over the ailing condition of Th. Muivah, the Ato Kilonser, NSCN/GPRN who is presently undergoing treatment at CIHSR Hospital, Dimapur, Nagaland. The student bodies are relieved to learn that his health is stabilizing at good pace by the grace of God, it mentioned.
In support and showing solidarity, the ANSAM in this regard fervently request all the constituent Units, Subordinate Bodies, Seniors of the Association and Naga people of South to observe one-hour prayer program in their respective office/Home whichever is deemed convenient whereon 30th July, 2021 for speedy and full recovery of Th. Muivah, the Ato Kilonser, NSCN/GPRN, to reach an understanding between the different Naga Political Groups and to grant discerning hearts across the Naga political leaders and Naga homeland. One’s prompt response and cooperation will be highly appreciated, the release added.
