ANSAM inducts new executives, Anteshang Charanga appointed President

Ukhrul, Dec 28: The All Naga Students’ Association Manipur (ANSAM) has inducted new executive members for its upcoming tenure. Anteshang Charanga has been appointed as President, while Isaac Charanamei will serve as General Secretary of the student body.

The new executive members were elected from various affiliating tribal units of the body. They are President Anteshang (Maring), General Secretary Isaac Charanamei (Liangmai), Vice President Bosco Kashung (Maram), and Assistant General Singson (Thangal).

Joyful (Anal), Longmei Rex Chujaenthaipou (Rongmei), and Zebulun (Chothe) hold other portfolios such as Education Secretary, Games and Sports Secretary, and Social and Cultural Secretary respectively.

Jessy Inpui from Inpui and Sochuingam from Tangkhul tribes were appointed as Finance Secretary and Information & Publicity Secretary respectively.

The body also appointed new Assembly Affairs members with Andria (Anal) as Speaker, Karang Paul (Maram) as Deputy Speaker, and TP Dining (Rongmei) as Deputy Secretary.
