ANSAM thanks subordinate bodies and constituent units for overwhelming support

Senapati: The All Naga Students’ Association, Manipur (ANSAM), as it closes its office for Christmas and New Year celebrations, has expressed its gratitude to “the subordinate bodies of ANSAM, constituent units of ANSAM and everyone for the overwhelming support you have espoused towards upholding unified Nagalim and for the cause of the Naga issue.”

In a statement today, the apex Naga student body in Manipur said, “As we draw close to the end of 2022, a year that will forever remain engraved in our consciousness as one of the most challenging years within our recent history, the ANSAM wishes to take this opportunity on behalf of the subordinate bodies of ANSAM and constituent units of ANSAM, to wish everyone a Merry Christmas 2022 and Happy New Year 2023.”

It also said that this Christmas season is a time when we celebrate the “birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and God’s redemptive grace to mankind.”

The ANSAM also said that it is a season when we pause and reflect on the goodness of God and a time to also “restrategize for what lies ahead of us.” The statement then added, “As we prepare to enter into a new year, the ANSAM submits to God Almighty for His guidance and strength for us all.”

The statement concluded by saying, “May all of us be preserved and protected until we meet in the coming year with a new hope, commitment and fresh dedication to our duty and may the everlasting God and the prince of peace keep and sustain all of us.”
