Senapati, July 27: Assam Rifles organized a vibrant cycle rally at Tungam Khullen, Paomata Sub-Division, Senapati District, Manipur on Sunday, 27 July, 2025 to commemorate Vijay Diwas.

The event was conducted under the Khelo India programme, an initiative by the Government of India aimed at promoting health, fitness, and sports culture across the nation.

The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation of 35 cyclists from various villages cycling on a stretch on National Highway 102A near Tungam Khullen.

A large number of villagers and local officials gathered to witness the event, which was warmly received and widely appreciated by the local community.

Such initiatives go a long way in strengthening the bonds between security forces and local populace, fostering mutual trust and cooperation. The rally showcased Assam Rifles’ continued commitment to peace, development, and civil-military harmony in the region.
