Ukhrul, Mar 10: Stating that the ongoing crisis in Manipur has caused great unrest and turmoil, the Arambai Tenggol (AT) has urged for support to the Central Government’s initiative to restore peace in the state. It also stated that ethnic conflict had left a scar on the people and their beliefs, especially on the Hindu and Meitei communities.

The Arambai Tenggol commended the Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah‘s efforts to restore the religious places that had been damaged or vandalized during the May 2023 ethnic conflict and termed it a significant move towards bringing back harmony and preserving the cultural heritage of the state. It also urged the state administration to take immediate measures to reconstruct the damaged and vandalized Hindu Temples and Meitei religious places that were destroyed and damaged by the ‘Kuki Narco-Terrorists’.
