Assam Rifles conduct Medical Aid Camp at Jiribam Relief Camp

Imphal, August 26: The Assam Rifles under Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised a Medical Aid Camp for the residents of relief camp at Bidyanagar Sports Complex, Jiribam District, Manipur, a press release informed.

AR said the medical aid camp was organised as an effort to render necessary healthcare facilities for the displaced people in the relief camp and to provide them with basic health facilities, including medical consultation and treatment for various ailments was provided.

The press release informed that a medical team including a medical officer, nursing staff rendered services and treatment to all patients in the relief camp. A total of 28 persons including 9 male, 11 females and 8 children benefitted from the camp who were suffering from minor ailments.

The people of the relief camp appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles for their selfless efforts in organising the camp, it added.
