SENAPATI: Assam Rifles, distributed furniture and computer set at Maram, Senapati District, Manipur on 30 April, 2026. The initiative was undertaken as part of its continued efforts to support community development and promote educational empowerment in remote areas.

During the event, essential furniture and computer sets were handed over to the Northern Maram Women Organisation and Maram Centre Women Society for educational and official purposes. The assistance aims to enhance infrastructure and facilitate better functioning of these organisations in serving the local community.

A total of 20 women from both the organisation and the society, along with Assam Rifles personnel, were present during the event. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the support and appreciated the proactive role of Assam Rifles in addressing local developmental needs.

Such initiatives reaffirm Assam Rifles’ commitment towards socio-economic development and women empowerment while strengthening its bond with the local populace
