Assam Rifles Organises Girls Football Match at Senapati

SENAPATI: 
Assam Rifles organised an under-11 Girls’ Football match at Astro Turf Football Ground, Senapati on Friday as a prelude to the 5th edition of the Lt Col (Late) Robert TA Open Football Tournament scheduled from February 5.

The match was played between teams from Compassion Children Ministries and Hope Home Orphanage Schools and saw enthusiastic participation from young players.

The event drew large spectators, reflecting strong community involvement and the role of sports in promoting teamwork and social cohesion. 

As part of the humanitarian outreach, essential items along with sports kits and equipment were distributed to the participating girls and the management of both orphanages.
