Assam Rifles Inspire St Joseph’s College Students

Ukhrul: At the “College Week” celebration of St Joseph’s College, Ukhrul, the 35 Assam Rifles Somsai under the aegis of IGAR (S) inspired and motivated the students to join the Indian armed forces. 

Under the theme “Inspire a Generation” in Ukhrul District on October 10, 2023, a motivational speech to join the Indian Armed Forces was delivered by colonel Manoj Shinde, commandant of 35 Assam Rifles.

Around 800 students and college staff were in attendance. The prospects of the Armed Forces and their experience were imparted to students. The students were guided to uphold their profound commitment to defend the country and serve the nation with unwavering devotion.

The colonel applauded the initiative of the students and teachers to host the event and assured them to extend all necessary assistance to the college for a better future.
