Assam Rifles Organises National Integration Tour

Ukhrul: Commander 10 Sector Assam Rifles carried out a flag off ceremony of the National Integration Tour being organised under the aegis of Headquarters IGAR (South) to Rajkot and Ahmedabad with effect from 13 to 29 December 2023.

A total of eleven students and one local teacher from three schools from Manipur are participating in the tour.

Students representing their schools are participating with full zeal and enthusiasm. The event is aimed at providing exposure for local students to visit historical and national monuments and facilitate good relations as well as bonhomie amongst the Assam Rifles and the local populace.

The parents of children and faculty members of respective schools appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles in maintaining peace and tranquility in the region and requested to organise such events in the future also.
