Assam Rifles to Host Cabin Crew Training for Ukhrul on Dec 4 & 6

Ukhrul: The Assam Rifles under Operation Sadbhavana Scheme is all set to host cabin crew training to aspiring women of Ukhrul District as part of women empowerment. Only 10 candidates will be selected for the training. A pre-selection test will be conducted by a panel of judges from Wahong Academy, Imphal at Wino Assam Rifles Outpost on 4 December 2023 and 6 December from 10:00 am onwards. She must be a resident villager under AR Somsai.

In a press release “Somsai Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR(S) is all set to host training for aspiring women candidates from the Ukhrul district in cabin crew crew, ground staff, etc. The training is sponsored by Assam Rifles and will be conducted by Wahong Academy at Imphal City for a duration of 45 days in collaboration with Tangkhul Mayar Ngala Long (TMNL). A total of 10 vacancies are being earmarked for the training. A pre-selection test will be conducted by a panel of judges from Wahong Academy, Imphal at Wino Assam Rifles Outpost on 4 December 2023 and 6 December from 10:00 am onwards.”

The undermentioned criteria must be fulfilled by the candidates appearing for the pre-selection test.

1. Documents Required from Candidates for Selection in Cabin Crew.
(a) 10+2 certificate.
(b) Age proof (passport/ 10th pass certificate).
(c) 02 x passport-size photos.
(d) Passport (compulsory). Candidates can start applying if do not have one.
(e) Aadhaar card photocopy (self-attested).
(f) Bank account and PAN card (optional).

2. Dress Code for the Pre-selection Day.
(a) Must come in Half sleeve shirt.
(b) Must come in knee length skirt or formal skirt.
(c) Long hair must be tied back in a pony or bun.
(d) For short hair, front hair must be clipped away from the face.

3. Physical Attributes of Candidates.

(a) Height

Minimum 5’1″ & above.

(b) Weight

Weight appropriate as per BMI.

4. English Test.

(a) Written

Grammar & essays.

(b) Oral

Conversation & speech.

5.
Hindi Test.

(a) Written

Reading.

(b) Oral

Conversation.

6. Other Eligibility Criteria.
(а) 10+2 passed or above.
(b) Maximum age 26 yrs.
(c) Height – Minimum 5’1″ & above.
(d) Weight appropriate as per BMI.

(e) Medically and physically fit.
f) Must not have heavy scars and tattoos on face and neck areas or as informed by the selection staff.
(g) Must be a resident villager under AR Somsai. (The candidates may seek confirmation from the

7. Other Important Instructions.
(a) The selection of candidates is solely decided on the candidates’ performance on the selection day.
(b) Wahong Academy’s selection team has the final authority for the selection of the candidates.
