Association appeals for safe release of missing boys

Imphal: The Parents Guardians Association of Don Bosco High School Langjing has appealed for the safe release of the two missing teenage boys, one of whom is a Class 10 student of the school. The two teenagers from Akham Awang Leikai in Imphal West District went missing after they left home for a meeting at Sekmai on November 5. Police has recovered their mobile phones in Senapati District and has arrested two suspects so far.

Addressing the media at Manipur Press Club in Imphal on Wednesday afternoon, President of the Association, Ningthoujam Hemachandra appealed to those responsible for their disappearance to release them for the sake of their families. He also sought help from Catholic Society in finding the boys and urged the state government to put in best efforts to trace them.
