According to the apex tribal student body of Manipur, a joint meeting of the ATSUM, its subordinate bodies and federating units was held on April 17, 2023, to discuss the matter and seek further action plan.

“Irked by the deliberate breach of tripartite agreement by the RIMS authority, the meeting resolved to resume suspended agitation from April 24, 2023, demanding befitting action against the erring RIMS authority and to implement the agreed terms of Memorandum of Agreement on April 3, 2023 signed between the RIMS, the ATSUM and the Manipur state government.
