Tamenglong district administration on Wednesday held an awareness programme on Child Sexual Abuse at Zion Church Campus under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao in collaboration with One stop centre.

The awareness programme was attend by thirty participants mostly teenagers between the age group of 18-20.

Ringteliu R Panmei case worker at One Stop centre was the Resource Person and spoke about how to protect oneself from sexual abuse, Judicial Rights and basic important information on POCSO.

Ringteliu primarily touched on model guidelines under Section 39 of The Protection of Children from Sexual offences Act – 2012.
