Bikers Rally For Peace In Manipur

Ukhrul, May 22: The Hao Riders from Ukhrul in association with Manipur Tourism organised a bike rally at Ukhrul Headquarters for early restoration of peace in Manipur.

The bike rally for peace was flagged off by Polly Makan, Additional District Magistrate of Ukhrul in the presence of Asish Das (IAS), Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul and Duno Duo, SDO of Jessami.

Speaking at the flag off, Polly Makan lauded the bike riders for the much needed initiative. She expressed thrilled and joy to ride along with the herds of bikers from Ukhrul to TK Woodland, Shirui. “I feel like a teenage girl, riding as a pavillion with my hubby” quipped the chirpy ADM of Ukhrul.

Asish Das and Duno Duo joined the bandwagon of riders by driving Royal Enfield bikes to spread the message of love, peace and harmony in Manipur.

Spreading the message of peace and harmony around 162 riders from different corners participated in the rally. The rally started from Bakshi Ground and covered the Ukhrul Town and retreat back to their camp at TK Woodland, Shirui.

  10. ⁠Keishal -The Wolves Tribe from Imphal
  11. Solo Eiders from Manipur
  12. Members from Hao Riders of Ukhrul

Secretary of Hao Riders, Chihan Leisan expressed the main objective of the bike rally was held under the banner “Let peace bloom like Shirui Lily in Manipur”.
