Blessing ceremony of Ningreingam Kashung, intending BJP candidate, 43-Phungyar (ST) AC held at Chadong village

Blessing ceremony for the intending Bharatiya Janata Party candidate of 43-Phungyar (ST) assembly constituency Ningreingam Kashung, who is also the vice president of Kisan Morcha BJP, Manipur Pradesh was held on Saturday at Chadong village.

The act of blessing was invoked by the village headman Wungnaoyo Kasar, and blessings showered by maternal uncle Louis Mung.

In an interaction with media persons, Ningreingam said, “My focus and intention to contest in the coming 2022 state election is to serve the area people and make Phungyar kendra a progressive area.”

He also mentioned that as per the prime minister’s advice to visit local villages and educate them on the vaccine, he has visited 100 villages under Phungyar kendra and has provided them relief. Ningreingam also commented on the BJP Party by calling it a 100 percent good party, and added that he fully trusts the leadership of Narendra Modi, JP Nadda and Amit Shah.

The programme was attended by state BJP leaders including Basanta, K Joseph, A Pamei, Pamreiphy, various leaders of BJP Ukhrul district, Kisan, Mahila and ST morchas, Chingai and Phungyar mandal, party karyakartas, headmen and chairmen of neighbouring villages and villagers.

Speaking at the occasion, BJP Ukhrul district vice president K Graceson had urged mandals to ensure proper scrutiny for all the intending BJP candidates while assuring them to accomplish their part.

He commended Ningreingam for relentlessly working in coordination with the party members to ensure victory for BJP in the Phungyar kendra. Graceson also added, “let today’s blessing ceremony be a new-opening phase for the kendra and a window for the party to shine.”

Mayonpam Gachui, President Kisan Morcha of Ukhrul district called N Kashung a practical man and praised him for having visited 100 villages meeting kendra people, headmen and party karyakartas.

Taking note of many intending BJP candidates from Phungyar and various other places who are seeking party tickets, he maintained that candidates who have worked and served the people would get the party ticket.
