Shillong, October 17: British pop sensations Blue are set to perform in Shillong on December 11, marking their first-ever live shows in India. The 25th Anniversary World Tour will also take the band to two other cities: Gangtok (on December 13) and Bangalore (on December 14).

The first stop of the India leg will be Shillong, long hailed as the Rock Capital of India. The concert will be promoted and organised by Fukra, an Assam-based entertainment company. Blue’s 2023 appearance in Shillong was announced but later postponed, this year, the band makes its long-awaited tour to Shillong with a fully restructured production plan and strong on-ground infrastructure.

The event is expected to draw fans from across the Northeast for what promises to be one of the most memorable international pop concerts in the region. Next on the tour is Gangtok, where Blue will headline the first-ever international concert in Sikkim, held at Paljor Stadium on December 13, 2025.

The event coincides with Sikkim’s 50th Year of Statehood, making it a landmark celebration that blends music, culture, and tourism. Blue will share the stage with K-pop royalty Everglow, offering fans an unprecedented double-headliner experience that merges two global pop cultures on one stage.

“This is a major milestone, the first international concert in Sikkim’s history,” says Jason Manners, founder of Rockski Event & Media Group, organisers of the Sikkim and Bangalore legs. “It’s a cultural breakthrough for the region and a proud moment for all of us involved.”

The tour’s grand finale will take place in Bangalore on December 14, 2025, at Phoenix Marketcity, under the banner Blue Christmas in Bengaluru. Bangalore has always been one of Blue’s biggest fan bases in India, and the band’s first-ever concert here promises to be a festive, high-energy celebration to close the India leg of the world tour.

“This will be a special show,” adds Jason Manners. “Bangalore’s music audience is sophisticated, expressive, and deeply nostalgic, it’s the perfect city to host the finale of Blue’s 25th Anniversary Tour.”
