Highlighting how the LSR has grown over the years, she welcomed everyone to the celebration.
Giving the exhortation speech, Rev. Sng. Nelson, Pastor, Lambung Baptist Church, spoke on the role of women in preserving and restoring the culture of the Anal Naga community. Referring to the theme, he said that women have played a major role in preserving culture as they are the ones that make all the traditional dresses.
“No matter how different we are from others, we need to stick to our roots, our culture,” the Pastor said, adding that one does not have to change their culture to adjust with others.
However, he lamented that the youths today were missing out on cultural knowledge and called for the need to teach children our language and culture. He also stressed on the need to know God if one was to preserve and revive their culture.
