Chandel Naga Peoples Organisation warns Institution heads of corrupt practices

Chandel: The Chandel Naga Peoples Organisation in a press note on Wednesday reminded heads of Institutions and relevant departments saying that its units are very much disturbed by the corrupt and dubious practices of administrations and delivery of services in the district.

The press note issued in the interests of the general public of Chandel district accused JNV Chandel saying that the institution have been working in connivance with corrupt parents from outside the district, to admit their children against the rules laid down by the ALL INDIA JNV – Administration since 2018 onwards.

It further said that the Naga Students Union have time and again warned and dealt with a number of outright corrupt officers in the past, however, the remnants are still prominent.

“The administration of JNV Chandel need to conclude the admission issue as per the committee’s recommendation under the chairmanship of the Chandel deputy commissioner who had also befittingly responded to the queries of JNV commissioner Shillong citing the laid down criteria of JNV,” added the press note.

CNPO furthermore said, “We understand that the interest of children’s education is paramount to the institutions, however, the administration cannot afford to take admissions through dubious means which would instill a wrong message to the young children. JNV administration should immediately draw the line and never repeat the flaws again.”
