Chandel Police Conducts Cleanliness Drive

Chandel district police conducted a special cleanliness drive at Chandel town on Friday morning led by SP Chandel L. Deben Singh, MPS along with Additional SP (Law and Order) Chandel Shankerjit S. Loitongbam, MPS.

About 100 members of the Police personel participated the cleanliness drive of the Chandel district town and surrounding areas. The cleanliness drive covers areas like DC Lamkhai junction via Japhou Bazar town till Chandel Police Station jurisdiction.

The cleanliness drive from DC Lamkhai junction to police station area collected one truck of unwanted bushes, garbage and plastic waste, according to police.

The objective was to keep Chandel town neat and clean. And to spread the message of cleanliness for good health and healthy environment to the masses.
