UKHRUL: Churachandpur Deputy Commissioner Dharun Kumar S, accompanied by Thangboi Gangte, ADC Mualnuam, conducted a spot enquiry and review of the ongoing projects under NHIDCL along NH-102B.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner expressed dissatisfaction with the pace of work, particularly in Package 4A and 4B (between Songtal and Tuivai Bridge), a release stated.
Stressing on the need to capitalize on the state’s limited working season, the DC directed NHIDCL officials to adopt a war-footing approach to execution while instructing the completion of works under Package 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B, with a clear focus on achieving maximum physical progress during this period, the release stated.

Later in the day, the Deputy Commissioner chaired the District Review Meeting at the Mualnuam Sub-Divisional Headquarters.
The meeting was attended by ADC Mualnuam Thangboi Gangte, ADC Churachandpur Seiminthang Lenthang, District Level Officers (DLOs) from various departments, and representatives from NHIDCL, it stated.
The DLOs presented a departmental overview and highlighted their progress and achievements through PowerPoint presentations on various schemes and programmes. The review underscored the importance of coordinated efforts to ensure timely implementation of development initiatives across the district, it added.
