COCOMI further demanded the session to discuss the “violation of the ground rules” of Suspension of Operation (SoO) by the Kuki based militant groups and take a concrete decision to abrogate the truce.

The resolutions to be passed by the Assembly should be forwarded to the Centre for early implementation, said COCOMI coordinator Thokchom Somorendro, while addressing a press conference at its office in Imphal today.

While demanding full-fledged implementation of the NRC in the state, he said that the Centre had already announced the introduction of NRC in the state.
