Chandel: The Monsang Theological Association (MTA), Chandel extends heartiest congratulations to Rev Dr Ng Molarhring Monsang s/o Ng Phamvur Monsang and W Phartin Monsang of Japhou Village, Chandel on being conferred the Degree of Doctor of Ministry (D Min) by Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong, Meghalaya Reg No K151200064, Certificate No 23010812 on September 22, 2023 from the Department of Theology under the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies for the thesis entitled “Christian Mission to the Poor: A Study on the Task of Christian Ministry with Special Reference to the Monsang Naga Baptist Churches at Chandel District, Manipur,” under the supervision of Rev Dr Shimreingam Shimray, Principal, Eastern Theological College (ETC), Jorhat.

Rev Dr Ng Molarhring Monsang has vast experience in the field of Christian ministry and humanitarian organization. He was with Friends Missionary Prayer Band, Chennai as a cross-cultural missionary working among tribals in Jharkhand from 2005 to 2010. He worked with World Vision India at various levels of leadership from 2010 to 2023. His 13 years association with World Vision India ended in the early 2023 in the capacity of Business Partner Officer (BPO). Currently, he is the state head of Clover Organic Pvt Limited based at Imphal. He is also the President of MTA, Chandel and Chairman, Ordination Commitee of Monsang Naga Baptist Churches Association (MNBCA).

Rev Dr Ng Monsang is married to Toshang Tontang of Khangshim and has three sons Ng Moringam Dularic, Ng Kongamhring and Ng Bepha Rufus.
