IMPHAL/UKHRUL: Meghalaya chief minister and national president of the National People’s Party (NPP), Conrad K. Sangma, arrived in Imphal on Friday for a two-day visit to Manipur.
During his visit, he inaugurated the new NPP Manipur State Office at Mercy Lane, Mantripukhri, in the presence of Manipur State Unit president Dr. Lorho S. Pfoze, party leaders and workers.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Conrad Sangma expressed happiness over the completion of the party office within the stipulated time. He thanked Dr. Lorho S. Pfoze, Minister, MLAs, the state committee and party workers for their collective effort in establishing the new office, stating that the dedicated party office would further strengthen the organisation and its activities in Manipur.
On the second day of his visit, Sangma will attend the NPP Manipur State Unit’s Annual Convention at the MSFDS complex, Palace Compound, Imphal.
The programme will include addresses by senior party leaders, felicitation of newly constituted district executive committees, induction of new members and prominent leaders into the party, followed by an address from the NPP National President on the party’s future roadmap in Manipur.
