COVID-19 claims five more lives in Manipur

COVID-19 related illnesses claimed five more lives in Manipur during the last 24 hours, taking the number of fatality toll in the state to 218.

The COVID-19 infection tally of the state also rose to 21636 as 211 fresh positive cases of COVID-19 including 17 Central security force personnel were detected during the testing of 1806 samples in the last 24 hours (till 4 pm of November 14).

During the same period, 190 COVID-19 patients were discharged after they recovered from the viral infections,  taking the cumulative number of recovered cases in the state to 18334.

As such, only 3,084 active cases of COVID-19 are currently being treated at various Covid care facilities across the state. The recovery rate in the stands at 84.73%, according to the daily update report of the COVID-19 Common Control Room of the state government.
