CHURACHANDPUR, NOVEMBER 14: On the occasion of Children’s Day and as part of its ongoing civic action programme to empower local youths and strengthen community relations, the 32 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Loktak, under the aegis of the IGP CRPF M&N Sector, organised a community outreach event at the L. Gelmol village playground in Leimatak, Churachandpur.
As part of the initiative, the CRPF distributed a wide range of sports items, including footballs, volleyballs and nets, badminton rackets and shuttlecocks, carrom boards with coins and powder, cricket bats with stump sets, and tennis balls.

The beneficiaries included youth clubs from Silen, Phaikholum, L. Khengjang, Tumjangphai, Majuron Kuki, Majuron Kabui, Phaibung, Lhangjol, New Kungpi, L. Gelmol, Bongmol, Bongphajol, Leimatak KSO and Leimatak KKL, all falling under the area of responsibility of G/32, F/32 and C/32 Companies of the 32 Battalion CRPF.
Schools benefiting from the programme included Silen Higher Secondary School, Tumjangphai JB School, Majuron Kuki JB School and Kukimun JB School. Jamkholun, chief of L. Gelmol village, attended the event as the chief guest.
The programme was also graced by senior officials including Arun Kumar Meena, Commandant 32 Bn CRPF; Sunil Kumar Ranjan, 2IC 32 Bn; Rajiv Dhar, Deputy General Manager NHPC; Suresh Chand Khatik, Assistant Commandant; and Anand Kumar, Assistant Commandant.

Addressing the gathering, officers of the 32 Battalion CRPF underscored the importance of such community-focused initiatives in fostering goodwill and strengthening the bond between the force and the local population.
