CRPF Marks 87th Raising Day with Tree Plantation Drive in Senapati

Senapati, July 27: In celebration of the 87th CRPF Raising Day, personnel of the B/109 Battalion, CRPF stationed at Senapati district headquarters carried out a tree plantation drive on Sunday around their camp premises.

Per CRPF, the initiative was led by Assistant Commandant Nula Bhim, who underscored the importance of protecting biodiversity and maintaining environmental cleanliness. The drive aimed to promote environmental awareness and sustainability as part of CRPF’s ongoing green initiatives.

Personnel from the 4th Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) also joined the plantation drive, reflecting a spirit of cooperation and community responsibility between the forces. The day’s programme concluded with a friendly volleyball match between the CRPF and 4th IRB personnel, adding a note of camaraderie to the occasion, CRPF statement said.
