ADC members served meeting notice by DC Senapati on August 7

UT News Service | Senapati, July 25: The District Commissioner, Senapati has served a meeting notice to all the ADC members on August 7, 2020 at the District Council Office Hall, Senapati in regards to the application submitted by 14 elected members from the Naga People’s Front, Autonomous District Council, Senapati dated July 10, 2020 for consideration of the resolution to remove the incumbent Chairman and Vice Chairman, ADC, Senapati.

The notice was reportedly served in exercise of power conferred upon under Section 23(2) & 23 (3) of the Manipur (Hill Areas) District Council Act, 1971 and Section 7 & 8 of the Manipur (Hill Area) District Councils Rules, 1972.
