Delhi man Arrested for sending Obscene Content to Northeast woman & Flashing her on Video Call

A 26-year-old man has been arrested by Delhi Police for sending obscene videos to a girl from the Northeast. The man also flashed his private parts at the Northeast woman during a video call, as reported by Indiatimes. The accused has been booked for outraging the modesty of a woman, stalking and other provisions of the Information Technology Act.

The victim, as per the report said, lives in Safdarjung Enclave in South Delhi. She received a video call from the unknown man, from an unknown number, later identified as one Salman, but when she answered he flashed at her.

The same incident as been reported in Times of IndiaThe report said, that Police have now arrested the accused. According to police officials, the accused indulged in similar objectionable behaviour with other women too.

According to the report of Indiatimes, Police said when they scanned the mobile phone of the accused, they found that he had sent obscene videos to at least 30 women. Police then contacted these women to check whether they filed any complaint against him, the women told cops that they simply blocked him”.

The girl, as per the report, said “she filed a complaint on October 12 after Salman called her and started sending her his nude videos. The victim said that despite not responding to his messages, he continued to call and send her messages”.

Phone number of the accused, the police said, is registered in Kota, Rajasthan. Police according to the report, traced the man on whose name the SIM was registered. The owner of the SIM then informed the police that it was Salman, his friend who was using the SIM card. Salman was arrested from Rohtak in Haryana and the accused confessed during the course of interrogation.
