Manipur continues to report fresh cases of COVID-19 above 200-mark in the last few weeks.
A total of 214 fresh cases of the disease including six CAPF personnel were detected in the last 24 hours (till 4 pm of October 21), according to COVID-19 Common Control Room of the state government.
The control room said the state’s COVID-19 tally has reached 16,276 cases out of which 3955 cases are active.
Meanwhile, 138 COVID-19 cases were discharged in the last 24 hours. With this update, the recovered tally rose to 12,197. The recovery rate of the state stands at 74.93%.
State’s COVID-19 casualty tally also rose to 124 as three more patients – two females of 70 and 60 years and a male of 50 years – expired in the last 24 hours.
