In his collection “Art of East India,” Naorem pays homage to the artistic brilliance and cultural richness of his native Manipur. Central to his creative vision is the revival of traditional handlooms and the promotion of sustainable fashion—values deeply woven into each piece. The collection highlights the versatility of Manipur’s handwoven silks, meticulously enhanced with intricate hand embroidery. By merging age-old craftsmanship with contemporary design sensibilities, Naorem positions Manipur’s textiles on the global fashion map while preserving the soul of his homeland’s artistry.

The collection seamlessly blends tradition and modernity, featuring a harmonious mix of traditional attire and Western silhouettes crafted from the exquisite weaves of Manipur. Presented in an elegant palette of red, cream, and ivory, each ensemble embodies sophistication and cultural depth.

His presence on such a prestigious platform not only elevates the region’s textile legacy but also inspires renewed recognition and opportunities for the handloom sector across Northeast India.
