Ukhrul: The campaign program of NPF/NDA candidate Kachui Timothy Zimik for the II-Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency for the 18th Lok Sabha Election 2024 was held on Friday at Ukhrul Headquarters.

Addressing the gathering, Kachui Timothy Zimik declared that he stands for the common good of the people and added that as many as 20 tribes of Manipur State have pledged their support to him in the upcoming elections.

Kachui Timothy Zimik called for unity and a unified voice among the Tangkhul tribe. He emphasized that a united front is essential to achieve their goals. He appealed to the Tangkhul community to come together and stand up for their rights, demanding better representation from their leader, who is this time the consensus candidate of NDA, NPF, and NPP. He challenged the gathering to question whether he has the potential and commitment to fulfill his responsibilities to the people.

In his passionate call to action, Kachui Timothy Zimik boldly declared, “I am prepared to fight for the rights of my people in Parliament and am even willing to lay down my life for our cause.”

“Our people have long endured the effects of the ongoing Naga political issue. How much longer must we suffer? It is time to work towards a resolution and create a peaceful state for Manipur,” added Kachui Timothy Zimik.

As a candidate, development is among the top priorities for Kachui Timothy Zimik. With the partnership of the NDA and NPP, there are abundant opportunities to work towards the betterment of our people.

Kachui Timothy Zimik appealed to the people to support and elect him, assuring them that he will not disappoint them. He pledged to work tirelessly for the people and their concerns, committing himself to the cause in the name of God.

Born on January 14, 1962, 62-year-old Kachui Timothy Zimik (IRS) served as Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (Retired) in the Ministry of Finance (Revenue), Government of India. A research scholar from JNU New Delhi before joining the Indian Revenue Service, Kachui Timothy Zimik held many important positions in his department and was posted in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and other cities of India. He is determined to use the knowledge and experience gathered in his 36 years of service to work towards the betterment and upliftment of the people of Manipur in particular and India in general. Kachui Timothy Zimik of NPF is the consensus candidate of NDA for the 18th Lok Sabha Election 2024 for the II-Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency.
