SENAPATI: Dharun Kumar S, IAS, has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Senapati district following a transfer order issued by the Government of Manipur.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms on May 24, 2026, Dharun Kumar S, who was serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Churachandpur, was transferred and posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Senapati with immediate effect.

Notably, Dharun Kumar S was recently featured among Fame India‘s 100 Best District Magistrates, earning recognition for his administrative leadership and public service.
The transfer was made in the public interest and was issued with the concurrence of the Election Commission of India (ECI), the order stated.
Dharun Kumar S replaces Mamoni Doley as new DC. Mamoni Doley has been serving as Deputy Commissioner of Senapati since May 18, 2023.
