Droupadi Murmu to visit Nagaland in November

Kohima: Droupadi Murmu, President of India, is visiting Nagaland on November 2 and 3, 2022.

In honour of the President of India, a civic reception will be organized at Capital Cultural Hall in Kohima on November 2 at 3 pm., an official report said today.

A cultural programme and a state banquet are also being organized at the State Banquet Hall, Chief Minister’s Residential Complex in Kohima on November 2 at 6:30 pm., the official report also said.

All the administrative heads of departments and heads of departments are requested to kindly attend the cultural programme and the State Banquet positively.

Tribe based organisations based in Nagaland have also been invited for the civic reception. “All have been requested to attend the civic reception wearing their traditional shawls and be seated at the venue by 2 pm,” the report also stated. All have also been requested to wear face masks at all times during the function.
