Elon Musk after his acquisition of Twitter has on Sunday announced that Twitter will reinstate Donlad Trump’s account.

The reversal of Donald Trump’s account ban from the social media site since January 6, 2021 comes after holding a poll that asked Twitter users to click YES or NO on whether Donald Trump’s account should be reinstated.

The YES vote won with 51.8% as against NO with 48.2% as of November 19 Twitter poll where 15,085,458 Twitter users voted.

Elon Musk took to Twitter and said, “The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated. Vox Populi, Vox Dei.” (Latin phrase, “the voice of the people, the voice of God.”⁠)

The former president, Donald Trump was banned from Twitter after a pro-Trump mob attacked the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.
