Nehru Yuva Kendra Chandel in collaboration with district administration Chandel and Wisecrabs-Chandel organized Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav- Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 on Saturday morning to spread the important message of fitness and good health.
Chandel Deputy Commissioner Rajkumar Mayanglambam flagged off the run from Indoor Stadium Japhou Bazaar to DC office complex Chandel. Ng. Rameson Monsang, District Youth Officer, NYK Chandel, Th. Joyshing, Vice-President All Manipur Football Association, Dr. Th. Joyson, Medical Superintendant District Hospital Chandel participated the run to encourage the youths who participated the movement.
Around 75 enthusiastic members including youths and 18 Assam Rifles team Chandel participated the event. Affiliated youth clubs under NYK Chandel took Fit India Freedom Run simultaneously at their respective villages as reported.
