Ukhrul, September 16: Reliable sources confirmed on Tuesday that Dr. Lorho S. Pfoze, former Lok Sabha member from Outer Manipur, has joined the National People’s Party (NPP), the regional party led by Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma.

The date and details of his formal induction, however, have not yet been announced at the time of filing this report.

Dr. Lorho, a medical doctor-turned-politician, resigned from the Naga People’s Front (NPF) earlier this week, citing personal reasons on September 11, 2025.
