Four fresh COVID-19 cases were reported in Manipur in the past 24 hours. 

The four fresh positive cases pushed the infection tally of the pandemic in the state to 29,339, the state Health department said in its daily update report.

These four fresh positive cases have led to the increase of the active cases in the state to 33 as no recovery was reported in the state on Monday. The recovery rate of the state also dipped to 98.61 per cent, the report said.

The cumulative numbers of recovered cases stood at 28,933, out of which 25,504 are from general populace while the rest 3,429 from Central security forces.

Meanwhile, only 46 people were vaccinated on Monday to take the cumulative number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 in the state to 81,297. The cumulative number included 31,140 healthcare workers, the Health department said in its report.
