Fully vaccinated persons entering Manipur from outside State exempted from mandatory testing

In what was a big relieve for people entering Manipur from outside the State, an orders of the Governor of Manipur has categorically exempted persons who have been fully vaccinated with two doses of Covid vaccine from producing Negative testing reports or mandatory testing on their arrival at Imphal Airport or at entry points at Mao Gate and Jiribam.

This order comes into immediate force, an order issued by deputy secretary (Health & Family Welfare) Government of Manipur on Tuesday stated.

This benefits is given only to people who have been fully vaccinated with two doses of COVID vaccine on the condition that at least 15 days should been completed from the date on which the second dose of Covid vaccine was completed, the Order said.

They should produce a valid certificate depicting the fully vaccinated status of the person with two doses of COVID vaccine with the certificate clearly indicating the date on which the second Covid dose was received, it added.
