Dimapur: Talking a pre-emptive measure so that its members do not indulge in the upcoming assembly election of Nagaland, the “GPRN/NSCN” has directed all of its members, both civil and military wings, to report and be stationed in their respective designated camps and units within 3 days’ time with effect from the publication of this information.

The “GPRN/NSCN” said that this directive has been issued in pursuant to the disciplinary conduct of the organization that all the members of the “GPRN/NSCN” should “refrain from involving and sharing any political platform or render mobilization and campaigning activities in the ensuing affairs of the Nagaland State 14th Assembly Elections with any party/candidate irrespective of any personal relationship/attachment”.

The statement then said, “This press communiqué is hereby issued in the backdrop of the Indo-Naga political issue still being in a vexed position to be resolved and the clamor for the Indian Government sponsored election vigorously manifesting without any qualm and conscientiousness of the larger issue of the Naga national cause”.
