Har Ghar Tiranga campaign continues in Ukhrul

Ukhrul: Ahead of the platinum year of India’s Independence day celebration various government departments initiated Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in Ukhrul district. The tricolour national flags have been hoisted at every government office buildings and institutions apart from flexes hung and postures pinned up.

Departmental staff’s selfies are uploaded at the district administrative social media groups and website, a release issued by DIO/ DIPR on Thursday said.

Chunglenmang Kipgen, Electoral Registration Officer who is also the Ukhrul ADM had reminded the trainees that during a one day Booth Level Officers (BLOs) training held at DRDA training hall, mini-Secretariat, Ukhrul which focuses on new Garuda Apps and collection of Aadhar data from the electors for linking and authentication of electoral rolls, that as India reaches 75 years of glorious freedom, participation of each and every citizen is solicited to render towards embracing the tricolour by hoisting national flag of India in their respective households and offices/institutions during the Independence week, the release further added.

Schools located at different parts of the district are taking up paintings and slogans competition at their respective schools since August 2.

During these weeklong celebrations more activities like easy writing, quiz, rallies etc will be taken up under the theme Har Ghar Tiranga, it added.
