Kohima: Head Hunters on Saturday lifted the 21st NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy 2021 held at Indira Gandhi Stadium organised by Angami Students’ Union.

Head Hunters defeated Mhakenyi Kro-u FC by one goal. The winning goal for Head Hunters came through the boot of Haotingmang Thomsong.

The champion’s Head Hunters received a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh with running trophy and citations while runner-up Mhakenyi Karo-u got Rs 1.20 lakh.

The individual prize of Rs 10,000 each and citations went to:

Highest scorer: Yhunshalo Kemp of Mhakenyi Kro-u with 15 goals.
Best Custodian: Ruokuovolie Phewhuo of Berenike FC Meriema.
Best Defender: Moirangthan Jayam of FIFA FC.
Best mid-fielder
: Asito Krose of Mhakenyi Kro-u

The player of the tournament award of a two-wheel scooty went to – Haotingmang Thomson of Head Hunters.

Earlier, Tongpang Ozukum, minister for PWD (Housing & Mechanical) graced the grand finale as the special guest.
