Hill Districts Private Schools Association Manipur condemns attempted kidnapping

The Hill Districts Private Schools Association Manipur(HiDiPSAM) in a press release condemned the attempted kidnapping of Castle Ikror, a student of class IV of KTL Excel Hr Sec. School, Ukhrul by five(5) unidentified miscreants on 10th June, 2022, and later dumping him packed in a gunny sack at Mayotang Zone -II, Ukhrul.

Calling the attempted kidnapping of the Castle Ikror S/o (Late) Wungnaoshang Rephung, an inhuman and sadistic act by the five miscreants, it stated that the incident was shocking and that it has created fear and insecurity among students, parents and the general public.

The HiDiPSAM in the release Monday fervently called upon all right thinking citizens to lend assistance in curbing the act of terror in order to facilitate a safe and conducive academic environment in the state.

It furthermore urged the Department concerned to do what is right in all earnestness and book the culprits at the earliest, adding that “The society cannot afford to allow such evil to fester. The HiDiPSAM stands with the ASSOCIATION OF RECOGNIZED SCHOOLS UKHRUL DISTRICT(ARSUD) on this crucial issue and expresses its solidarity.”
