Indian Army Reaches Out to Konsakhul Villagers

Ukhrul, Feb 4: As part of its outreach efforts, the Indian Army visited Konsakhul village in the Senapati District on Tuesday to engage with the local community and strengthen mutual trust. The visit sought to enhance cooperation, understand local concerns, and reinforce the relationship between the Army and the villagers.

During the visit, a friendly volleyball match was also organized which saw enthusiastic participation from the villagers and Army personnel. The match showcased an excellent display of camaraderie and sportsmanship, serving as a platform for informal interaction and allowing both sides to connect beyond the formal settings. The participants were also felicitated for their efforts, adding to the spirit of the occasion.

The villagers expressed their appreciation for the initiative and conveyed their gratitude to the Army for its continued support. They acknowledged the Army’s role not only in maintaining security but also in fostering harmony and assisting local communities when needed. Such engagements play a vital role in promoting goodwill and unity and strengthening the bond between the Army and the local population.
