India’s Rock Capital Shillong Welcomes Scorpions for Coming Home Tour 2026

UKHRUL: Scorpions, the iconic German rock band is set to perform in Shillong again after 18 years as part of their Coming Home 2026 Tour at JN Stadium on April 21.

Shillong will be the opening stop of the tour hosting this legendary band highlighting the city’s deep association with rock music, a legacy that has earned it the tag of India’s rock capital. The Shillong concert is supported by Meghalaya Tourism, with The Circus as event partner. Produced by BookMyShow Live, the four-city tour will continue to Delhi-NCR (HUDA Grounds, April 24), Bengaluru(NICE Grounds, April 26), and conclude in Mumbai (Jio Gardens, BKC, April 30).

Frontman Klaus Meine said the band is excited to reconnect with Indian audiences after a long gap, while guitarist Rudolf Schenker described bringing the Coming Home concert series to India—six decades after the band’s formation—as a special celebration for fans and the group alike.

Tickets will be released in phases, with an artist pre-sale on January 14 at noon IST, followed by a Kotak Mahindra Bank credit card pre-sale on January 15, and general sales opening January 17 at 1 pm IST, exclusively on BookMyShow.

Formed in 1965, Scorpions have sold over 120 million records worldwide, delivering timeless anthems like Rock You Like a Hurricane, Still Loving You and Wind of Change. The tour follows the release of what the band has hinted may be their final studio album, adding a poignant note to their long-awaited return to India.
